I can't tell you how many times I have traveled this road. It runs from the Utah boarder to California. The most of it is really lonley, no towns, just sesert and sage brush. Also no rest stops. So you need to consume very little fluid before heading across. Also there is no radio reception out there. You can drive for 30 min. and not see another car.
