Another feature on Highway 50 is this huge sand dune, called Sand Mountain. No one really knows the origin of this pile of sand other than maybe pushed up here by some glacier many years ago. People come here to ride up and down on their dune buggies. From the highway they look like ants. You can make out some of the campers in the pictures.
So that is the end of my story of Highway 50. Ya gotta see it at least once. Anyone else been there?
