we met a gal at the gym this morning who was a real hoot. She is oriental, an 8th grade school teacher, and she kept using this term that I found hysterical. So now when something bugs you just say, "Well that just chaps my hide" Isn't that funny? or does it chap your hide? dc

LOL my mother used to say stuff chapped her hide all the time, my dad also used to tell us when we were in trouble that he was gonna TAN our hides...I think our HIDES are getting mistreated~~

Usually, things chap my ass. I'm not so delicate with it, but then again, I'm not an 8th grade school teacher.
She does sound pretty hilarious, though. :)
